Biographie
«Ma Musique, ma passion»
Née au Canada, d’origine italienne, la soprano Claudia Giuliani a une passion pour l’opéra italien et la musique sacrée. Son talent naturel et la qualité de son timbre l’ont conduit à prêter sa voix et à interpréter des airs de Puccini, Bellini, Donizetti, Caccini lors de plusieurs concerts bénéfices : Hôpital Santa Cabrini, Fondation Groupe Belle Musique, la firme d’avocats Alepin Gauthier, la Fondation de la maladie de Lou Gehrig et la fondation Les Anges de l'Espoir.
2008, elle débute des cours privés de chant sous la tutelle de Madame Gail Desmarais, professeure aux universités de Montréal, Sherbrooke et Bishop.En 2009, elle présente sa candidature au Concours « L’Apéro à l’Opéra » de l’Opéra de Montréal, et est retenue parmi les 38 finalistes sur 160 participants.
2011, elle produit ses deux premiers concerts en solo de répertoire romantique et opéra. Faisant salle comble en moins de 3 semaines, elle remplit une troisième salle de concert dans le mois qui suit.
Elle est sélectionnée pour participer à la finale canadienne du XIIe Concours International de Chant Altamura/Caruso. Elle participe à un séminaire intensif de dix jours au New Jersey où elle bénéficie de classes de maîtres auprès de Mesdames Carmela Altamura et Maria Knapik (soprano), de Maestra Elaine Rinaldi, et de Messieurs Francisco Chahim Casanova (ténor) et Alexander Harrington.
2012, engagée totalement à vivre sa passion, elle se joint à la brillante pianiste Ève Bourgouin et enregistre avec elle son premier CD Voce e Anima.
2011-2016, elle est soliste pour Les Chanteurs de Lorraine depuis 2011 et participera à plus de 40 concerts et à deux tournées en Europe (2014 & 2016) et une au Québec (2018).
Elle débute une série de concerts intimes avec sa pianiste Ève Bourgouin au Centro Leonardo Da Vinci avec la collaboration de Roberto Medile.
Le 30 mars 2019 fut la première représentation au Cabaret BMO de Sainte-Thérèse.
Claudia est un grand talent à découvrir. Son public lui reconnaît « Une habileté particulière à transmettre dès ses premières notes, une gamme d'émotions qui touchent instantanément les cœurs et les âmes ».

Biography
«My Music my passion»
Born in Canada, from Italian origins, soprano Claudia Giuliani discovered her passion for Italian opera and sacred music. Her natural singing talent prompted her to offer her soprano voice and perform classical arias from Puccini, Bellini, Donizetti, Caccini, in fundraising concerts for Montreal’s Santa Cabrini Hospital, the “Fondation Groupe Belle Musique”, the law firm Alepin & Gauthier, the ALS Society and the Fondation Les Anges de L'Espoir.
2008, she extended and perfected her vocal and artistic abilities with private lessons with her mentor, Mrs. Gail Desmarais, professor at The University of Montreal, Bishop’s and Sherbrooke Universities. In 2009, Claudia entered a contest sponsored by the Montreal Opera entitled “l’Apéro à l’Opéra”, and was selected as one of the top 38 performers among 160 contestants.
2011, she produced and starred as a soloist in her first two concerts. She performed a selection of romantic opera pieces. Her concerts sold out in less than three weeks and produced a third concert the following month.
She was selected to participate in the Canadian Preliminary Rounds for the International Voice Competition of the Altamura/Caruso. She took intensive master classes during ten days where she benefits from the expertise of several coaches like Mrs. Carmela Altamura, namely, Mrs. Maria Knapik, Maestra Elaine Rinaldi, Mr. Francisco Chahim Casanova and Mr. Alexander Harrington.
2012, with total commitment to live her passion, Claudia channeled her energy towards the recording of her first CD “Voce e Anima” realized with the brilliant pianist Eve Bourgouin.
2011-2016, Claudia is soloist for “Les Chanteurs de Lorraine” since 2011 where she has performed in more than 40 concerts since and 2 tour in Europe (2014 and 2016) and one in Québec (2018).
She is performing with her pianist Ève Bourgouin, in a series of concerts at Centro Leonardo da Vinci with the collaboration of Roberto Medile.
March 30, 2019 was the first concert at Cabaret BMO in Sainte-Thérèse.
Claudia is a great talent to discover. She is recognized for her ability to transmit great emotions and touch the soul of her public.
